Connected energy unit for industrial applications


In this project, STRATUM 9 developed an intelligent energy unit for DETO Automation for integration into industrial production and logistics systems - particularly in the automotive industry. The focus was on implementing a connected electronics and software platform that records, analyses and transmits the operating status of each individual component in real time.

The centrepiece of the solution is the integration of DECT NR+ as a robust wireless communication interface. This technology enables reliable, low-latency data transmission even in complex industrial environments where conventional wireless systems reach their limits.

The modular software architecture allows flexible expansion and seamless connection to higher-level systems such as MES, ERP or IoT platforms. This creates the basis for functions such as condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and energy optimisation.

With this project, STRATUM 9 demonstrates how powerful, wirelessly networked industrial components can be realised by combining modern embedded systems with DECT NR+ - as a future-proof solution for digitalised production.

Live vital body data via LTE


Thanks to a smart shirt, this innovative application enables real-time monitoring of health and performance status through the live transmission of heart rate, respiratory rate and GPS data. In addition to remote monitoring and emergency intervention, it also opens up exciting fields of application such as the transmission of this data for sporting events, including TV broadcasts. This technology creates a new dimension in health care and opens up exciting possibilities in sports and entertainment.

Live CAN Data Monitoring


The CAN data logger module is a small, mobile device that sends telemetry and CAN data to the STRATUM 9 Cloud via LTE-M / NB-IoT. It offers a variety of functions, including real-time monitoring and analysis of CAN data, OTA configuration updates, event-based CAN data stream, backup battery, and REST API services.
